Diogo is prisitine and undeveloped village just a bit north of Praia do Forte, which, in spite of its primitiveness, is home to a couple of excellent restaurants.

There's a nice pousada in Diogo -- Too Cool -- run by an interesting Belgian couple.  The pousada's name, in addition to being a reflection of the couple's take on the place they've decided to make their home, is the phonetic equivilent of an East African word for "hut" (East Africa was home to Sophie and Christien before they settled in Bahia).
