We understand that sometimes guests are forced to cancel due to events beyond their control. We hope as well that those who reserve rooms here at our pousada will understand that -- unlike a hotel -- we are a small establishment; cancelled reservations often mean that reserved rooms go empty in spite of the fact that we've already turned away others who'd sought to reserve a place to stay. With this in mind, our policy is that in the event of a cancellation we will gladly give credit for another stay in our establishment, for a period of one year from the time of the original reservation, in the amount of the deposit made.
