difference between Standard Rooms and Luxury Rooms is simply
that Luxury Rooms are located on floors 8 - 11, whereas Standard
Rooms are located on floors 1-7.

Carnival
notes for the Bahia Othon Palace:
The
Othon Palace rocks during Carnival (on the side which
faces the street that is)! The parade passes right by the
hotel, but as all of the hotel's bedrooms face the ocean,
guests are able to escape the high-volume festivities when
they choose to. The hotel also erects a huge camarote (viewing
stand) out front on the Avenida, in which guests can eat,
drink, and party in absolute security (there is an extra charge
for this).

Visitor
Policy:

A Bahia Othon Palace guest may be accompanied to his/her
room by a visitor in the case that a single guest is registered
in the room.
- The
room will be charged as a double.
- Visitors
are asked to present I.D. at the front desk.
