Itacimirim is a small residential community 43 km north of Salvador, with summer homes on 4 lovely beaches offering everything from sunbathing, natural pools,  snorkeling, surfing, a few well-placed barracas, and a river entering the sea.  Praia da Espera (the closest beach) is where Amyr Klink landed after his solo trip from the coast of Africa in 1984.  The water averages 82 degrees F. (25 C).  The town of Praia do Forte is 8  km away, with cafes, nightlife, Projeto Tamar, Castelo Garcia D'Avila, and shopping.

Accomodations are in a private house with 4 bedrooms, veranda, pool, security...120 meters from Praia da Espera on foot.  We speak English, French, and Portuguese.
